I spent about ten months searching for a job, but I got nothing. Maybe because I am a new refugee in this country, and my abilities in the English language are limited. The desperation had filled me. Then one of my friends told me to join the East County Career Center (ECCC).

At ECCC I met helpful and giving people. They helped me in everything and helped be beat the desperation. Now the sun is shining on the earth of love! I got a job at the San Diego airport.

I want to thank everyone at the ECCC and especially my Employment Advisor, Carolina, who concentrated my activities and gave me the ability and skill to do well at the job interview. I also thank Najwa for her help. I also need to thank my teacher who gave me a lot of help with using the English language as well as improving my math skills.

Thank you!
