You can find job openings from a variety of sources at East County Career Center. In the Resource Room you can browse our job files with up-to-date listings from local employers, or access employment opportunities on the Internet. The California Employment Development Department (EDD) provides state-wide computerized job listings using the CalJOBS system located just outside the Resource Room. EDD provides additional job files with civil service as well as private industry job openings. CalJOBS - California Employment Development Department (EDD) self access labor exchange program. CalJOBS is an Internet based job opening and resume listing system serving both employers and job seekers. CalJOBS can be accessed from computers here at the career center or any location with Internet access and does not require special hardware or software. To use CalJOBS, both employers and job seekers must register via the World Wide Web. EDD staff can also assist with registration here at the career center.
